Press Release Suggestion:
A concert of friendship and romance as seen through the eyes of Disney.  A "Tale as Old as Time" is the story of hopes and dreams, initial meeting of strangers, the developing friendships with its challenges, and finally the true love that overcomes all adversity and lives happily ever after.  Four vocal soloists perform songs that tell the tale in a journey of love that will touch your heart and rekindle the hope found in all of the Disney stories.  Animated clips from your favorite Disney films will compliment the music featured in medleys that include the songs "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and "Bella Notte", "Part of your World" and "Beauty and the Beast".  The Disney villains have their moment of glory punctuated by the dramatic music from Sleeping Beauty "Battle with the Forces of Evil" adapted from the original Tchaikovsky Ballet by Disney's staff composers.

An evening full of Disney memories awaits audiences who are willing (with a little pixie dust) to follow the hearts of our animated friends from the silver screen.   Presentation licensed by Disney Music Publishing © Disney

Information:

The program requires 4 singers minimum and optional ensemble/ choir background singers and child singer.  Full orchestra accompaniment in new thematic arrangements that draw from multiple films in the same arrangement - a new concept around here.  The projections are all film clips this time, choosing more scenic, establishing shots and scenes to give the audience time to reflect and enjoy "less seen" footage.  It also diminishes the challenges of the live vocalists singing while the animated character is also singing…slightly out of synch with the live vocalist.  The clips are montages from the films and are not intended to be in perfect synchronization with the music.
